To install a new ringtone on the Motorola Q, you must follow these steps. For this tutorial we'll assume that you already have a new ringtone download the file to your computer. Connect the MOTO Q to your PC or laptop via USB cable or Bluetooth wireless connection and open the ActiveSync program if it does not start automatically.

In the ActiveSync Application do the following:

* Click the Explore button

* Double-click the device icon. (My running Windows Mobile devices)

* Open the folder Application Data

* Open the Sounds

* Drag the new file with the tone of it saved on your computer down uu the sounds folder in ActiveSync

* Now disconnect the computer from Motorola Q

Now, the transfer activity on the Motorola Q. Now you say your cell phone to use this new ringtone you just copied over. To do this, do the following:

* Press Start (Left Soft Key)

* Scroll down and select the Settings icon

* Continue to scroll and select an icon

* Select Ring tone and press the joystick left or right to scroll to the desired tone.

* Click Done after choosing a new ringtone of your choice.
